Alison was a huge help in effectively coordinating everything about my bathroom remodel on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC. She was especially helpful as I needed the remodel to happen while I was out of town and unable to be directly involved.

Alison selected tiles and other products based on the pictures and ideas I sent her, saving me money and time along the way. She was able to secure lower prices for materials than I could find on my own. She communicated routinely with contractors so I wouldn’t have to (an invaluable service!). And she checked in regularly on the work – even sending me progress pictures – over the course of a week and through is completion.

When the project was finished, she also coordinated the billing so I only had to write two checks to cover the entire project. The time and energy Alison saved me was worth so much more than the reasonable fee she charged for her services.

I would highly recommend her for coordinating and implementing any home remodel project large or small!

My husband and I worked extensively and closely with Alison when she was the owner of her own company. We added another story to our Annapolis house, a complicated process requiring reconfiguration of the existing house as well as major new construction. Alison’s company both designed the addition and reconfiguration and built it. They did a beautiful job and we are extremely happy with the results. Alison herself was hands-on for every step in the process from obtaining the permits to the finishing touches. She knows all the suppliers and subcontractors and was great about keeping us informed about changes in delivery schedules and the many other headaches inevitable in a construction project. Whenever we made a change to the plan, she prepared a clear contract addendum so we were all on the same page and there were no unpleasant surprises. Throughout our project my husband and I were both working in very demanding jobs in DC with little time to deal with the details of our addition and improvements. Alison’s professionalism and expertise allowed us to rely on her supervision of the work without costing us time and distracting us from our own work. We would use Alison again in a heartbeat and give her our highest recommendation.
